Rain Water Harvesting - Save Your Plants From the Drought

Depending on your property, your plants and your goals, the amount of harvesting and storing rainwater will determine the size and the scope of the system you will require. We can bury the holding tank underground, so it does not take away from your yard.

Our rainwater system is designed with an irrigation system with a timer that will automatically run on a schedule. While gravity will move most of the water into the tank, getting the water out of the tank and to the locations you select will require electric, a pump, and a distribution system. You can select different zones to be watered based on whatever priority you select. If you have a limited amount of water in your holding tank, you may select to water only the large established trees and shrubs weekly while other plants only get watered every other week. If any plants die from lack of water, the inexpensive smaller plants will be the ones to let go first.

For a small simple system, one rain barrel connected to a downspout may be enough to keep you flower beds looking beautiful. A garden hose could be connected to the rain barrel with a soaker hose in the flower bed and all you have to do is open the valve for a little while and you are finished.
